Kristin Godoy and Matt Christensen strived for a modern, bohemian wedding with views of the ocean. They decided on The Casino San Clemente for its white fireplaces, seaside location and ability to act. Angela and Colin’s California wedding at Casino San Clemente was everything we love about DIY weddings and so much more! The bride tapped into true bohemian style when creating the macrame and tapestry hangings, the freeform bouquets and centerpieces, the hand-painted signs, the gift teepee, and the copper “taco bout a party” board to display their llama keychain favors.
The Casino San Clemente is a popular and excellent choice for most wedding celebrations in San Clemente. Its style depicts both modern and reminiscent of the era it first opened, which was 1939.
The venue creates a nostalgic aura with its Spanish-inspired white walls, cast-iron chandeliers, and old bricks.
You can choose from an indoor or uncovered outdoor wedding setting. One event space called the ‘Patio of the Stars’ includes a romantic fireplace or a ceremony backdrop depending on the weather.

What a fun Memorial Day weekend full of amazing weddings! Kyle & Malia’s was the topping on the cake! Their wedding was just spectacular. The San Clemente Casino is a historic building right next to the ocean. It is stunning with Spanish architecture and amazing greenery making for awesome photo locations. On top of this being an awesome venue, Kyle & Malie were just as wonderful! They are just so beautiful inside and out. It made our jobs so easy! We had a blast getting to know them and their amazing families. Kyle is from Hawaii so they did a tropical Hawaiian theme wedding. It was so elegant with the perfect amount of tropical touches throughout. My personal favorite was the aisles of the ceremony lines with real pineapples from Hawaii. The day was filled with perfect weather, fun dances, toasts and so much love, the way every wedding should be.
