I stayed overnight at Golden Acorn Casino. It is 60 miles East of San Diego and only about ¼ mile off I-8. I called ahead and was told they cater to Rv’ers. The casino is small and exceptionally clean, there is a small restaurant, mini mart, and gas station. All prices are very reasonable.
In late 2012 the La Posta Casino in Boulevard, just a mile from the larger Golden Acorn Casino off Interstate 8, also folded due to lack of business and mounting debt. La Posta also owed millions.
